⚙️ Basic Rules

• 6 players per side.
• All 6 players bat.
• 9 overs per innings.
• Max 2 overs per bowler.
• No Netted Catch.
• Minimum of 1 over per player.
• Both teams have to play the allocated overs even if the chasing team has crossed the target score.

🏏 Scoring Rules

Bonus Runs:

• Zone A (front net – behind the keeper and side net behind the stumps): 0 runs
• Zone B (side nets between the striker's end and halfway down the pitch): 1 run
• Zone C (side nets between halfway and the bowler's end): 2 runs
• Zone D (back net – behind the bowler): 4 or 6 runs depending on the manner in which the ball hits the back net.
• Zone B or C onto Zone D: 3 runs
• 4 Runs: Ball rolling directly into back net without touching any side or upper net.
• 6 Runs: Direct hit to back net without touching any side or upper net.
• Zone E: Ball first hitting top Net: 0 runs
• Wide and No Ball: 2 Runs

Physical Runs (Running):

• Marked middle line serves as the runner’s crease.
• Striking batsman to runner line = 1 run.
• No Leg Byes.
• Byes are allowed.
• Note: For physical runs, if a batsman strikes the ball hitting the back net on the full (6 bonus runs) and completes one physical run, the total is 7 runs.

🚫 No Ball & Wide Definitions

No Ball:

• Overstepping the crease.
• Full toss above waist height.

Wide:

• Standard wide line marked on the pitch.
• Bouncer above head height.

Note: No Ball and Wide balls are counted as legal balls except in the final over of the innings.

🧢 Batting Format

• Each pair bats for 3 overs (irrespective of dismissals).
• No LBW (Leg Before Wicket).
• All other dismissals apply.
• -3 Runs are deducted for each dismissal.
• 3 consecutive dot balls (no change in score) in an over is considered out.
• Batters switch when the striker is out with any type of dismissal except in these 2 conditions:
  • If it is the last ball of the over (e.g. if Batter A is on strike for the last ball and gets out, for the next over Batter A starts at the non-striker end).
  • If it is a run-out (e.g. batters stay at the end where they got out).

🏏👨‍⚖️ Umpire, Scoring, & Substitution

• Batting team to provide a leg umpire and scorer.
• Final decisions are made by the main umpire.
• No substitutions allowed. The umpire might allow a substitute in case of a major injury under certain restrictions.

Note: The ball is active at the start of the over and until the umpire calls it an "over complete". If batters want to leave the crease and not attempt a run, they should inform the umpire before doing so.
